DIRECTIONS TO THE GARDEN
The entrance to the park is off Oak Ridge Parkway at the intersection with Whitesville Road. Turn south from Indian Head Road and make the first left turn into the park. There is a large wood sign that says 'Winding River Park' and you will see the compassionate friends logo on the sign.
After entering the park, make the first right turn (the Toms River skating rink is on the left) and follow the road approximately 1/2 mile into the large parking lot at the end (do not turn into the area by the ball fields. Our garden is the area to the right of the lot between the lot and the pond.
If you are coming south on the Parkway drive to exit 82A for Route 37W and drive to the 2d traffic signal. Do not turn into the entrance for Winding River Park on Route 37, you cannot drive through to the garden site. Turn right onto Oak Ridge Parkway and go 1 mile, the park entrance will be on the right.
If you are driving north on the Parkway drive to exit 83 (after the Toms River toll) and go north on Route 9. Make the left at the traffic signal (Indian Head Road - Route 571.)
Go past the entrance to the shopping center and then make the next left onto Oak Ridge Parkway.
